This Video Should Help:
Do you have a group of young friends that love playing games together? If so, then you’re in luck! There are plenty of great and fun young life club ideas out there that can be implemented using some simple supplies. In this post, I’ll share a few of my favourites with you.
Indoor Young Life Games
1. “Would You Rather?” ufffd This classic game can be played with any number of people and is bound to get some laughs. Simply ask your group would they rather do A or B and see what their responses are. Some sample questions could be: Would you rather have superhuman strength or the ability to read people’s thoughts? Would you rather be able to fly or be invisible?
2. Two Truths and a Lie ufffd This game is great for getting to know people better and can be played with large or small groups. Everyone in the group takes turns sharing three statements about themselves, two of which are true and one of which is a lie. The rest of the group then tries to guess which statement is the lie.
3. Human Scavenger Hunt ufffd This game is perfect for larger groups and can be played indoors or outdoors. Divide the group into teams of 2-3 people and give each team a list of items they need to find (e.g., a penny, someone wearing a green shirt, etc.). The first team back with all the items wins!
4. Word Ladder ufffd This word game is perfect for those who love puzzles and challenging themselves mentally. Start with a word (e.g., CAT) and then create a new word using only the letters from that first word (e.g., DOG). Each new word must be different from the last but follow the same pattern until you reach your final word goal (e.g., RAT). The challenge here is to see how many words you can come up with in 1 minute!
5.”I Spy” ufffd This classic childhood game can be played anywhere, whether you’re at home, in the car, or out on a hike! One person starts by saying “I spy with my little eye something [color/beginning letter/etc.]” and then everyone else takes turns guessing what object it is that they’re thinking of based on that clue until somebody gets it right!
Outdoor Young Life Games
1. Red Light/Green Light: This is a classic game that can be played with any number of people. It’s simple, yet effective and always a good time. To play, one person is chosen to be the “traffic light” and stands at one end of the playing area. The rest of the players start at the other end of the playing area. When the traffic light says “green light”, everyone starts walking towards the traffic light. When the traffic light says “red light”, everyone must stop walking immediately. If anyone is caught moving after the traffic light has said “red light”, they are sent back to the starting line. The first person to reach the traffic light wins!
2. Simon Says: Another classic game that can be enjoyed by all ages, Simon Says is perfect for large groups. One person is chosen to be Simon and stand in front of the group. The rest of the players stand behind Simon, out of view from him/her.Simon then gives a series of instructions (e.g., “Simon says touch your nose”), which must be followed by all players except for Simon himself/herself who gives false instructions as well (e..g,”Do not touch your nose!”). Players who follow a false instruction are eliminated from play while those who correctly follow Simon’s instructions progress onto Round 2 where there are more challenging instructions given!
3.”I Spy”: A great game for younger kids, I Spy can also be enjoyed by adults too! One player starts by saying “I spy with my little eye something [colour]”. The other players then have to scan their surroundings until they spot an object that matches what was described – once they’ve found it, they shout it out! For example:”I spy with my little eye something red” ufffd> someone might say “Fire truck!” or “Tomato!”. The player who guessed correctly then gets to go next and describe an object for others to find!
4.”Mother May I?”: A simple but fun game that can be played with any number of people, Mother May I? requires one person to take on the role of mother while everyone else lines up behind her/him at least 10 feet away from her/him.. Mother will then call out various commands such as ufffdTake 3 giant steps forwardufffd or ufffdHop on one foot 5 timesufffd which each child must ask permission before doing so e.g.”Mother may I take 3 giant steps forward?”. If mother responds yes then child may do so but if she responds no then child must stay in place or go back depending on what command was given e..g,”No you many not take 3 giant steps forward but you may take 1 small step instead”.The goal of this game is see how close children can get to mother without getting told no!. First one across finish line wins!.
Covid Friendly Young Life Games
1. “The Masked Singer” – This game is inspired by the popular TV show of the same name. Players will take turns singing a song while wearing a mask or other face covering. The other players will have to guess who is singing based on their voice and performance.
2. “What’s That Sound?” – One player will make a sound with their mouth (like a duck call) and the others have to guess what that sound is supposed to represent.
3. “Telephone Pictionary” – Players will sit in a circle and one player will start by drawing a picture of something on a piece of paper. They will then fold the paper so that only the next player can see what they drew. The next player will then try to interpret the drawing and add their own drawing to it, and so on until it gets back to the original artist who reveals the final product!
4. “Two Truths and A Lie” – Players take turns sharing two truths about themselves along with one lie. The others have to try to guess which one is the lie!
5. “Name That Tune” – One player hums or sings a few bars of a popular song and the others have to try to identify it.
Young Life Games Without Props
It can be tough to come up with games that don’t require any props or materials, but it’s not impossible! Here are a few ideas for Young Life games that can be played without any props whatsoever.
1. The Name Game: This is a simple yet effective game that can help everyone get to know each other better. To play, simply have everyone stand in a circle and say their name followed by an interesting fact about themselves. For example, “Hi, my name is Sarah and I love puppies!” After everyone has had a turn, start the game over but this time have people say the name of the person to their left before sharing their own interesting fact.
2. Human Knot: This is another great game for helping everyone get to know each other better. To play, have everyone stand in a circle and put their right hand out in front of them to grasp the hand of someone else in the circle (it doesn’t matter who). Then do the same with your left hand so that you are holding hands with two different people. The goal is then to untangle yourselves without letting go of anyone’s hands! This can be quite challenging but it’s also really fun and helps people bond with each other as they work together to solve the puzzle.
3. Two Truths and a Lie: This classic icebreaker game is always popular and requires no props at all! To play, have everyone write down three statements about themselves on slips of paper – two of these statements should be true while one should be false (but make it convincing!). Collect all of the slips of paper and mix them up before reading them aloud one by one. Everyone else in the group then has to guess which statement they think is the lie. After each statement has been guessed at, reveal which one was actually false and see if anyone correctly guessed it!
4. Group Juggle: This game is great for getting people moving and laughing together! To play, have everyone form a circle and begin passing around an object (a ball or beanbag works well) using only your feet – no hands allowed! If someone drops the object or uses their hands, they are out of the game. The last person remaining wins! You can make this game more challenging by adding more than one object into the mix or by having people pass objects in both directions simultaneously.

High Energy Young Life Games
1. The Balloon Stomp: This is a great game for getting everyone moving and shaking out any nerves. Divide your group into two teams and have them line up facing each other about 10 feet apart. Place a balloon between each player’s ankles (you may need to blow them up ahead of time so they’re not too big or small). When you say go, the object of the game is to pop all of the balloons of the other team by stomping on them. The first team to pop all of their opponents’ balloons wins!
2. The Water Bottle Relay: This is another great way to get everyone moving and laughing. You’ll need one water bottle per team (filled about halfway), and a plastic cup for each player on the team. Divide your group into teams and line them up behind each other. The first player in each line will start with the water bottle, and must pass it down the line without using their hands – they can only use their arms! When the last person in each line has the water bottle, they must pour it into their cup and then run it back to the front of the line where the next person will start passing it down again. The first team to fill their cups wins!
3. The M&M Game: This game is sure to be a hit with any sweet tooths in your group! You’ll need one bag of M&Ms per team (You could also use Skittles or any other type of candy). Divide your group into teams and have them sit in a circle. Go around the circle and have each person take turns picking an M&M out of the bag – but don’t eat it yet! Once everyone has an M&M, explain that there are three different colors – red, green, and blue – and that each color corresponds to a different action. Red means that players must stand up, green means that players must sit down, and blue means that players must clap their hands 3 times before sitting back down again. Players can only do these actions when they see another player doing them – so if someone stands up when they’re supposed to be sitting down, everyone else must stand up too! After a minute or so (or when things start getting really chaotic!), call out “change!” at which point everyone must find someone else who is not doing what they’re supposed to be doing (e.g., if you’re sitting down when you should be standing up, find someone who is standing up) and switch places with them before resuming following whatever color instructions you were previously given. The first team to complete this task correctly wins!
4.’The Chocolate Game’: For this game, you’ll need one chocolate bar per team (You could also use Hershey Kisses or any other type of candy). Divide your group into teams and have them sit in a circle . Go around
the circle
